Well I am using a Freelander engine compartment fuse box, it has severn relays and plenty of fuses so will do for this job just fine. I wired up the main relay to power the PCM and two more outputs for the two banks of injectors, all working ok
then I thought I would use the A/C relay to power the instruments. then I noticed that I have 3 volts at the injectors with the ign off. So some head scratching ensued and after looking at Power distribution on RAVE I figured out the output from the main relay also feeds the windings of the A/C relay so when switched off there is a back feed through the windings of the A/C relay to the injector outputs, Phew.
I will have to get some Diodes to sort it out.
Also I have been quoted £75 for a Start capacitor for my compressor, which got broken off when something fell on it. That was Ingersoll Rand price. so now I have to start searching for one at normal price, only problem is I can't read the microfarad rating on the old one.
