Hello,

I have a 3 door Disco 1 and want to change the perished Alpine Window seals.

The part numbers I have found are AWR 1146 and 1147.

Would I be correct in thinking the alpine windows are the same size on the 3 door and the 5 door versions?

They are the part numbers I used on my five door, so yes the same, straight forward to put them in,

Job done.
Time per side:

• to remove and clean paintwork and glass - 15 mins;
• to fit seal and replace glass - 10 mins;
• to fit the sealing strip - anytime up to 2 hours!!!

I've got the special tool for that

I like that, sort of thing I make at work for doing a thing we don't do often enough to warrant buying a proper tool for ...

Yep with the proper tool the jobs a doddle least ways that’s what I tell the missus.

I think I am that tool given how long the RH side took. LH went in much quicker - only 30 mins.

Ive got a proper one with a little roller on it as I fit windows quite regular on "BOATS"
