All this rain we are having this weekend! In essex for instance we have had tons fall in the last 12 hours!!

I am yet to go fording but who has got there FORDING PICTURES to show us!!

No pictures but I had my headlights submerged the other day whilst fording... Yet to have it over the bonnet!
 
imho anyone driving into water that they dont absolutely have to is a dipstick..... theres plenty of pics on here of swamped vehicles where the water was too deep.

So wait, i guess by that reckoning when i came home last night via a green lane because it was ****ing it down and i thought itd be fun.. does that make me a dipstick too, as i could have come the road way..

Right... :confused: We don't all NEED to go green laning or use pay and play sites either, but we do because it's it's our hobby and we enjoy it thoroughly.

Does your Landy have a snorkel?
 
no it dont have a snorkle and ive no intention of fitting one... its pointless if youve got carpets and proper padded seats. and ive got better things to do than changing corroded light units , starters and bearings cos theve had water in them... been there done that and learnt from it.

but if youve nowt better to do carry on its no skin off my nose.

Been wading quite a few times in this Disco and my last one, proper deep on occasion over the wipers....I have full carpets with carpet mats, comfy padded seats and lots of electrical bits and bobs inside, HID lights etc

Never once had a breakdown due to water damage!!!
