I was referring to the Electronic Air Suspension system which uses an ECU, height sensors (One in each corner) and an on board compressor and valve block.
Quite a few people decided to remove the EAS from their Classics and P38's and fit normal Coil springs instead because of problems. Usually, if there is an EAS fault the car will lower onto the bump stops but still be driveable at approx. 25-30 mph max.
