Was just speaking to myself and thought. has anyone ever tried fitting air suspensions to a hippo? would it be a nightmare?

Just take a look on the Range Rover section (P38) and have a read of the numerous EAS problems !!! Maybe you will have second thoughts.......:hysterically_laughi

I was referring to the Electronic Air Suspension system which uses an ECU, height sensors (One in each corner) and an on board compressor and valve block.
Quite a few people decided to remove the EAS from their Classics and P38's and fit normal Coil springs instead because of problems. Usually, if there is an EAS fault the car will lower onto the bump stops but still be driveable at approx. 25-30 mph max.

The disco 2 also suffers the same problem.
