Hi again!

Was out in the RR today and suspension working with no problems. Parked it up when i got home and lowered like i usually do with no issue.

I then went back out side and tried to fully raise the car to have a look underneath and it wont move atall. Left it anither couple hours and still nothing

Its driving at the lowest level with no warning light or limp mode. The pump is coming on but was very hot when i checked it, Also it looks very new

Any idea whats going on?

If compressor is hot it's overworking which would suggest it's feeding a leak. As suggested look in how to guide and follow. Make sure you do finger test first!

Cheers guys. Just puzzled as I have had no issue then it just stops all of a sudden.
Can someone point me at the how to as I can't find it

Cheers

Man up and stop lowering it to get out, it just shortens the life of the compressor.
Almost certainly your compressor is toast.

Right. I've checked the compressor, and i can stop the air with my finger with some pressure!

I stripped it down and everything looked ok but then i dont know what it should look like. Piston ring seemed very smooth

Off to search for a local pump!

Just get a new seal kit from someone like symlise p38 spares on Ebay.

Thanks for all the help guys. Since re fitting it rasing at the back all be it very slowly, i assume it just not got the pressure for the front

I've ordered a seal kit. But found a pump locally so might just buy it just now and rebuild my pump

Should i be driving it meantime?

By driving it you risk fecking the motor in the pump
If your going to replace the entire pump then go for it but if you want to reseal it then I wouldn't
However if it cant get to hight it will eventually go into eas fault and shut down
And unless you have a data lead or eas kicker you will not get it working again

Leave the door open with the engine running for 10 to 15 minutes shut the door and see if it comes up. If it does, pull the timer relay under the passenger seat and if there are no leaks it will stay up.
Of course you problem could be a leaking front airbag:eek:

Yep, its leaking from the os front bag. I got it to height but the pump is running constantly and adjusting the height. Soon as i switch off it drops

Foook sake
