i am thinking of air suspension so i can put in garage.can anyone tell me what the height difference is on rrc airbags.i have a 2" lift but am thinking of going back to normal height which means i will need to drop 4"from standard height to fit garage .i am not wanting a fancy all singing and dancing system all i want is normal height and drop for garage so im thinking electric pump air resevoir two accurate flow regs one front one back then a valve to let the air out to isolate from the feed and let down.so after all the long winded waffle will rrc airbags give me that range?
Maybe go a simpler route and use 4 valves that you manually fill from a compressor? Bit like the kits you can get for p38s etc for emergency inflation. And then carry a 12v inflator just in case you get caught away from home needing some air.

Im sure the bags would do the job but I think you need to see how they compare physically to the std coil springs.
You also need to bare in mind air bags provide practically no damping effort at all so you will need stiffer/stronger dampers.
Then theres the insurance company ball ache.
I reckon it may seem simple but will in fact be a real mission

I saw that some companies sell a 2" lowering spring kit (from standard height). May be an idea?
If I drop that low I will have to run very stiff and this is part of adjusting it, it is on a 2" lift with hd springs and the only time it rides nice is with the back full of slabs and even at that I would still need another 30 mm so the only option is air its just working out if the airbags drop low enough and I should ring and check with the insurance but they seem quite easy going I'm with Lancaster on a highway policy so I will have to see

- but I reckon they might tell you how low their system goes ...... which might tell you how low you could go .....
