Well the suspension has never let me down until now, for some reason it has started blowing the fuse. The strange thing I can go weeks with no problem, then a week where the fuse blows ever other day and at £4 a go . As anybody got any ideas please?

mine blew the same fuse once. it was because my pump was full of water.
maybe not the same in your case, but worth a look.

And especially in this weather the water freezes and no air can get through at all. Happened to mine.

I bought a used engine compartment fusebox for £10 so I had a bunch of spare fuses, relays and fusible links.....

I will take a look at the pump, the strange thing is Iansoady you hit the nail on the head, the fuse always blew when it had been a cold night. Thanks xat44 & iansoady for your advise.

It's actually the filter behind the LHS light cluster that freezes up so air can't get to the compressor so it just runs & overloads itself. Land Rover cunningly designed it so that water running off the sunroof goes straight onto it.....

Five minutes to get at and a few minutes to squeeze the water out then dry on a radiator. It will work happily without the filter for testing purposes.

unfortunatly for me. the water had got past the filter and into the pump/compressor. the pump can be pulled apart. after drying out it was fine.

Firstly there was no filter (foam) well what was there was in pieces, bought the complete kit £21(ebay), secondly , pipe was full of water which leads to compressor, drained new filter fitted, now works a treat, so fingers crossed no more blown fuses.
