I bought a well used 03 td6 a week ago and immediately hooked up the caravan and towed to Cornwall. Although the air suspension worked fine during test drive and on the 20 miles home, it threw the error code and the level controls inside stopped working when we pulled out of the drive with caravan attached. I hoped it would reset with the van detached but no luck. Would anyone in Cornwall (St Austell) be able to read the error and reset please? I previously had a BMW e39 which I have the software for, but that is at home, and I don't think it will talk to the L322 anyway? To avoid troubling others in the future what software would be the best to invest in? Thanks. David

For the p38, the cheap option is, I think, called EAS unlock but not sure if this works on the l322. Do a search for it, I'm sure you'll find out if it will work.
You'll need a lead as well. Datatek used to make them but not sure if he still does.

The L322 will halt all manual level commands when a trailer is plugged in - if the dash said Air Susp. Fault then this is indeed a fault.

Need to get it plugged in and fault codes read....my guess would be a tired compressor not able to supply the required amount of air to stabilise the rear end with the weight of the caravan on.

EASUnlock won't work on the L322 - need All Comms, iCarSoft, Lynx, Hawkeye, Faultmate et al....

Just a thought, someone I know has just purchased an early L322 he got it cheap as the air suspension didn't work (thousand off). Although the battery seemed OK starting etc He put a new battery on and up came the suspension. Could be the disconnection (use proper method in owners manual) or extra volts perhaps it hadn't got a hard code? sounds like you need a reset though. Towing the caravan where you charging the vans battery?

Sorry, been off-line for a few weeks. No, it only has single electrics, so not charging the van. Got it reset by a very helpful Landrover place near Truro - it was expected to be the breather /brass air stone thingy, so I removed it. Stayed clear for about 6 weeks then showed the inactive again. This time error is pressure drops when filling - except it does change height when inactive for weeks. The local expert in Warwickshire suggests it is a weak pump. he cleared the error but is was back the next day. I must get my own reset tool asap, but is anyone able to read it again for me near Stratford upon Avon, or comment on the suggested reason for the error above please?
