Ok, so I have a leak on my air con

so guess usual suspects are O rings on compressor, O rings on Rad and the Rad it's self?

anything else I should be looking into?? any way I can test to see where leak is?? rather than replacing the above and hoping it works?? where can I buy the seals? is it a land rover deal part?

Usually it's the aircon RAD top corner. You can have it filled with leak detector. Not heard of O ring failures on the Aircon.

no I wasn't meaning the O rings had failed I would need to replace them with new if I'm fitting new parts?

Will have a look into getting the Rad out and pricing up new ones

The replacement should come with the required O rings. I bought mine on Ebay but beware, there are 2 different sizes.

yep.
I put a new condenser in mine last year. Great price around £80 I think.

1st I would suggest is to take it into Halfords or somewhere and get them to charge the system. They use a dye and then you will find your problem area. They will then purge your system ready for your repair.

My guess is it will show as Data says in top left /right corner as you look at the front of the car.

The replacement is straight forward.

The new condenser will come with new seals.

Once all back together, go back to the place you took it to and they will charge it up.

They will re-inspect and advise. All should be fine.

Yep agree with Data & Don, just replaced mine with a hole in the condenser. Got mine of ebay from coolpartsuk for £68 delivered.

take it to kwik-*it ask for air-con refill.they will drain it and attempt to fill,if they cant fill it due to leak they don't charge you and usually tell you whats bust:biggrin1:

That's an L322 condensor.
