Same has happened to mine. Interested to know if I can just replace the antenna or if the whole thing has to be replaced
 
It's probably welded itself in like mine did. I sold the car but would have needed to replace mount and aerial. I think you get at it through the interior light.
 
I just carefully drilled out . On fact the broken bit wound itself down to the bottom. Ran a tap through and replaced areal. Works ok

I did that too but the aerial never worked properly afterwards. Mind you my ham fisted efforts were probably the reason. :oops:
 
No need to do that mate. I took the targa glass out and stood up to have a look at the roof mount. There is a plastic cap on one side which comes off, exposing a Philips screw. I took that out which releases the part the aerial screws into. I have just about drilled it out now then will reassemble. I will put some photos up when finished. Thanks for the reply.
