My own fault, for giving them a go.

They just sent an email saying they sent out a wrong checklist of things to send in to them :scratching_chin: and i now need to send more documents.

this new one wants me to take lots photos of the landy inside/outside, engine bay, odometer, front, back, etc. agreed valuation, photocopies of all named drivers including photo ids, blah blah

i've never had to do any of this before and not with the other vehicles i have.

is this standard practice now or is it due to me quoting landyzone?

(pita getting insurance this year. first lot didn't put on protected no claims, so i had to switch.. now this mucking about)

All the photos/details of mods and proof of cost are for the agreed value

Other list of mods for the insurance.

ah right, i must have mentioned about an agreed value then. I don't remember that tbh, but if that's all it is then cool.

I had to send a photo of my odometer the first time I took insurance out with them for an limited mileage policy

hmm... now i need to provide my driving license with the correct address on it.

gah, i've never bothered to update it when i've moved, so they want me to reapply... what a pita it is this year.

i hope they don't force me onto these photoid ones.. so much red tape bull****

Attempts to cut insurance fraud, Post code and address determines what you are going to pay. Not just flux but most of them are doing that

usually they ask where the vehicle is parked and use that postcode. i've never had to send off my driving license with the same address listed before.

Take copies of your existing licence before doing so - a lot of people get them back with things missing - like the ability to tow / drive lorries, etc. - they're not too keen on sorting out their mistakes either.

And, for future reference, avoid A/F :)

The photos are only needed if you want to agree on the value youve said, if not the price will go on the market value, the photos arnt needed for the policy to go ahead.

Only need a photocopy of your liscence isn't a great deal?
You can upload it online in about 5 mins.
Took me not even 10 mins from phoning them up to getting my policy completey sorted lol..
