Simple 1 2 3 4 hold and open trick. It takes time but it's far less complicated or a pressure bleeding tool is a god send

Thank you. I have a vacuum purger, to say it's useless on the P38 would be to pay it a compliment.
Why do the links keep disappearing 
The vacuum pump is OK for pulling liquid from power steering units but pressure pump is good.

My vacuum thingy worked for re-filling the rear brake pipes after replacement, but agreed definitely useless for bleeding. It useful for filling the coolant though.
