I have a 1996 P38a that has developed a weird ABS fault. On passing under any pylon lines there is a clicking noise from the drivers footwell and the ABS failure light appears on the dash . Anyone have any ideas ? (apart from not driving under any pylons ).

Can only be due to magnetic flux, maybe interfering with the signals from the wheel sensors. Weird.

Thanks for that. Stuck a Faultmate on to the car and got 4 faults all to do with the offside ABS wheel sensor.

Ok sorted then. Will have to remember that one. Who needs a Faultmate when you have pylons to diagnose your problems.
