Mr Muds and I had a fantastic day today courtesy of DTd5 , who very kindly invited us to join him and some mates from the series3,90 &110 club (southwest ), we had a brilliant day with great weather , stunning views and great lanes ...pity my rockslider got a little bit intimate with Fingle Bridge , no damage to betsy or bridge ..phew! Thanks to LeonT and all the others who made our day perfect.:)

Hi Muds, Glad you both enjoyed it, there were some nice lanes and even the roads between were pretty special in places!

Not sure which lane Fenworthy Down would be?? If you PM me some OS cord's I'll be able to tell you.

But if it's anywhere near Fernworthy Reservoir, then no we wouldn't have driven that yesterday.

God that was undoubtedly thee worst place I've ever stayed , may as well have been on the central reservation :rolleyes: last night ...just silence ahhhh , well apart from the owl :D

It's near Lydford so you didn't drive it.

Great vids DTd5 ...the 3rd vid is the lane that FK , 110w and us stopped for a leg stretch the week before and hopefully will be on the Torbay jaunt in Oct.
 
It's good to view those great pics and videos from you both.
Brings back the memories of a great day out.

It is - fabulous , except on horseback , i can't actually think of a better way of enjoying the countryside and the 90 and spending time with nice folk in great places.
As i said on another thread , i'm buying up a few tiles from the OS 1:25,000 maps , and as an experiment just happened to buy a tile north of here , it's only BOAT central , ok a lot of lanes are on old mine waste areas , but me and Mr are certainly going to go for a lookie ...never know we may just drag some of these Devonshire folk further west!:D
