So first up - how my landy got an MOT this year is beyond me..... the steering which it seems has been ****ed since i bought it 5 years ago - finally completely faield on me the other week. so i switched in a good used column from greyhair (cheers - again) and it drives like a new car .....
anyway while i had the pedal box out changing the column i changed the servo and master cylinder on the brakes.....
now i have brakes that an F1 car would be proud of - kiss the windscreen kind of on the nose braking ability and no fading pedal or vac reduction - which was why i changed servo and M/C
my issue - theres very little freestroke in the pedal its literally braking heavily at the top of the stroke - maybe 10mm in - quite grabby braking - i "think" that some freestroke would give me more modulation and let me use the brakes more effectively.
Is this something thats adjustable ? - i guess its the servo to pedal area that has the adjustment ? can it be done with the servo in the car?
