I think its a great idea to have 4x4 = 16 as a channel for 4x4 owners, I have never talked to any other 4x4 drivers in my car. But on my ham radio I have talk to other 4x4 drivers in Bulgaria and USA quite often whilst driving Larry about ;-(
The only thing to remember is use the UK CB frequencies not the EU, most new radios come with both.
Also if your a disco owner just stick a mag mount in the middle of the roof for a Defender bolt the antenna in a roof rack run a thick cable to the chassis or something steel like the bumper.
