seperate ballast resistor
Then run a fresh wire (parallel) with the original wire from the ignition to the coil, it's worth a try.just had a word with a mate aint got a ballist thing he thinks it the wires behind the dash
ah think we've did that bit earlierI had a bad short circuit in my series 3 which meant it wouldn't start, turned out to be a dodgy connection from the ignition to the coil thingy, i added an extra wire from the ignition and ran it to the same place on the coil leaving the old wire in place too, it started then, don't know if that is any help to you though!
