Been rebuilding a defender 90 for the past 2 years coming upto the third year in august but hopefully finished by then and finally feel like im making progress towards completion so thought i would post some pictures

The car is a 200tdi 1992,
ive changed the chassis to a richards galavanised one
i changed the axles to 300tdi as they were not very dear of a friend and has given me disks all round
i had to change the bulkhead but managed to pick up a very clean one
old man shocks and springs
cleaned up the cluch and brake pedal boxes and hammerited them
hammerited the heater box with new seals
new fuel tank with new seals
lots of other jobs have been done and still to do
heres a picture of 90 when i brought it

managed to get the drives side wing on today aswell
Also got the slam panel fitted and drilled the two holes for the intercooler front brackets had to make some modifications to the front panel to allow for the full size intercooler
to do that i had to cut the lip of the front panel and also elongate the two bottom fixing points to make it easer to get the panel in place

Made more progress this weekend
changed the tubular shock turrets for galvanised standard ones as did not do enougth research as was not till i went to fit the wing inners that i found out you had to cut some of the wing inner away which i did not want to do.
also got the fron panel fixed in place and the fixings for the bonnet catch and the brackets that hold the radiator in its proper position
and fitted the rest of the brackets in the engine bay
