I've kept out of this as i think it could end up in a Big P thread...

But...the landy was sold at a price the seller and buyer agreed, the buyer was happy with it, drove it a few hundred miles home, kept in touch and the seller answered any questions...the head gasket went a few weeks later...this is unfortunate, but its a landy..

Now, some people may think it was too much, others about right...but its between buyer and seller...I dont hear of many folk who have bought a 'bargain' later selling on at a 'bargain' price...

The Landy in question was MOT'd recently and the chassis, bulkhead etc, earlier repaired, were considered in very good condition...afaik the engine, now repaired, is also very good.

Well joke/arguement what ever you wanna call it?

Why don't toenails post a pic to prove us all wrong!!

there is no proving right or wrong to be done - it's worth whatever someone was prepared to pay for it

tis very simple

it's a land rover, when has ''getting your money back'' ever been the rule ?

stop guessing, you've turned this thread into a soap opera

Well defenders must be one of the only vehicle that you can buy keep for 2years and sell for what you paid.

Your doing well at hiding it as all 1984 LR 90's on eBay are vans styles and white.

rather than slagging it off, why not just leave it to sell

am sure you'd not be happy if some grumpy t**t was affecting your wallet
