Wow thats what you call quick delivery, hope it all goes well
Glad you've got it sorted! Did they manage to find out why the original front diff had failed? Lack of oil?
Well done!!!! I'm really pleased that its gone well and your both back together I was expecting a twist in the tale half way through your post but non came lol phew!

Lack of oil???? Try bone dry! The garage said that when they went to drain it the equivalent size of a thumbnail drop of oil fell to the floor so the diff pretty much welded itself together! Thank the Lord I bought a diff outright and didn't have to exchange the unit otherwise that would have been a further kick to the nads
Oh Will, you know me so well with my posts in such a short time of being on this forum. I could have gone on for a few more paragraphs but it was gone midnight and the Strongbow had gone down well as it was a day off today!!!!
Oh dear! Well that would cause a problem, there being no oil and all. Glad you've got it sorted now at least. Have you put some pictures up yet?!
Good for you, Range Rover ownership is a bit like childbirth, so i am told, the joy of ownership makes you forget the pain of taking delivery of them once they have been fixed.
I have said many times, the pleasure comes from working out whats wrong with the damn things and putting it right.
Enjoy the rest of your roller coaster of emotions that is the L322
