Off to the scrappers then
Hope not! On the positive side of this pic is the fact that it was recovered from somewhere;), so it's got out of the driveway, so to speak... Or @Bobsticle is on the money and the fec kin thing has been scrapped:eek:
Insane project that must be a serious 'bleed' on cash, but clearly a life-long dream by the OP or he's got a hell of a family.

Yes, that's the old girl, not recovered as such, but as he's not yet road legal, she has to be transported everywhere.

This must have been yesterday, not today, but looks like it was taken in Aldershot just off the A331, which confuses me a little, as the driver should have been coming from Basingstoke to Yateley, and Aldershot is a bit out of the way !

She's been getting measured up for a custom stainless exhaust, up till now, I've been getting by with the standard Discovery V8 exhaust, which comes up just by the rear axle and it a total bodge onto the Jaguar manifolds - still, saves me from getting deafened.

The new exhaust should be ready in a few days and then we'll see what she sounds like ! :)

I don't know what it is with you Bobsticle, nearly every post you make is abusive, negative and belittling. Are you secretly hoping this project will fail ? Is that how you get your validation ?

I have told you before that this will never be scrapped, I have put years of my life into this and nearly £40,000 - there is no way I'm giving up, especially now I'm this close to completion

I really don't appreciate your negativity, the old maxim applies here - if you have nothing good to say, then say nothing - do us all a favour !

No-one wants to be Defended ;)

See. Told ya.

Great to hear things are still moving forward - literally! As a hybrid vehicle, it'll be interesting to hear how all of that comes together in the final 'mix'. Keep posting!!

@dave658 - please do ignore all the naysayers, I've been watching this thread from the start, and would love to see the vehicle in the flesh ....though given the distance between here and there, I might have to settle for piccies on the screen ... and hopefully a vid or two on the tube of U ;)

I wish you absolutely all the best with your continuing efforts :) - it looks the dogs doodahs :):):)

Sorry yes it was Saturday I saw it around 10:30 yeah pic was taken in Aldershot (was at work) frantically getting phone out me pocket to get a snap!

It's an epic build that's for sure.

I can't wait for it to be finished and at a show somewhere so I can oggle it from a far :D

Ignore bobsicle and his geriatric moaning, he’s just jealous of your skills and abilities!!! As for the rest of us, we love this project and can’t wait to see it on the road and at the shows!! Keep up the great work!!!!
Oh I like it.
Just seems a bit odd to start the thread and then leave so long between updates. Unless of course keeping it a little secret upps the price when the magazines want to print an article on it.
I honestly look forward to seeing it complete but I’m over 50 now so the odd little bit of banter may have spurred an extra picture or two rather than a barrage of defensive tripe. Copyright permitted obviously.

Soo, how about fitting an engine steady to balance the engine movement, there a couple of heavy duty shocker type ones on the market. If BLMC can harness the A-series, so you can harness this one.
