Classic Rides in Wales can unlock your BeCM. They could probably check your fob. After that it might be worthwhile buying a new driver's door latch unless you are certain the microswitches are good.

@martyuk does refurbished door locks, don't know if he's in the country at the moment but he may see his tag.

Sorry, just seen I'm tagged in this - I'm not on the forums much at the moment, and am also out of the UK until the end of April for work.

But the clue to all this is in the first post (in my opinion). You mention that you don't have central locking, window, or mirror working on the door. This is an issue with the outstation or the wiring to it, rather than anything else. (well, there could always be problems with your door latch etc - but they aren't the main issue here at the moment).

The BECM and outstation talk over a serial link of a few wires, so if one of these are damaged/broken/bad connection, then all of the functions in the door will stop working, and as the outstation interfaces the door latch to the BECM, it will also mean you can't enter the EKA code etc. So need to sort the issue with that before anything else.

If you have other outstations from a parts vehicle you can swap in, then do that first - it's quick and easy, and whilst the outstations are generally robust and don't fail often, it has been known to happen.
Whilst it's unplugged, use a multimeter and check for 12V on the Purple/Black AND Purple/Blue wires. Purple/Blue is a thicker wire and is the power for the window motor, but Purple/Black is the feed for everything else - including powering up the outstation. If the LHF door all works OK, then it's not likely to be the fuse, as they're both fed from the same fuse on the BECM.

Next place to check is the connectors inside the A piller (not the ones in the footwell - though these are common for causing problems, the wiring for the doors doesn't go through these connectors). If you pull the rubber wiring loom sheath away from the body of the vehicle, you should be able to wiggle out the connectors from the hole which connect the door wiring to the vehicle. Check these connectors for signs of corrosion, and give them a clean if you do see any.

If you have good 12v/ground at the outstation on both sets of wires (there are 2 ground connections too from memory) then it's worth tracing the Red, Light Green and Orange wires between the outstation and the BECM (these wires from the RHF outstation appear at the BECM on the 20 way blue connector on the front edge in the drivers footwell). I have seen numerous times where one of these wires has had a break in it (usually under the plastic tread plate trim along the door opening). And just one of these 3 wires breaking will cause the outstation to not communicate with the BECM and for all functions in the door to stop working. Annoying, yes... but they did it this way as the serial link over a few wires carries commands that would take probably 20+ wires otherwise, and reduces the size of the wiring looms.

Check out the power/ground to the outstation, and the serial link wires, and reply with what you find - chances are your problem lies in there somewhere. No point sending BECM off or things like that just yet - the number of times people have done that, only to find there's nothing wrong with them, and there was a break in a single wire... I've seen it a lot!

Hope this helps,

Marty

I've got a feeling the outstation might be swappable, side to side. Check the part numbers.
