Hi guys,
Pretty much done all that can be done on my disco except the timing belt change.
Something I am keen to do and learn but I would like to have someone with previous experience to help me if possible and set the fuel Injection timing while I'm on.
Is there any one in Staffordshire / Cannock area that is willing to give me a second set of hands and eyes for a few beer tokens? Please let me know.

Hi mate id give you a hand but engines are not my strong point just awaiting dates to go off and do a day with the lad that makes the landrover dvd.com.
This is one of the thing he will be covering if you are still stuck after that happy to help im just up in Stafford.

Hi, i did my first 300tdi belt change a few weeks ago, its not that bad. You do need some tools but nothing thats hard to find.

Let us know if you want to know whats involved.

I am keen to have a bash myself but an old mechanic friend has setup on his own and has said if I get the kit he will fit it and setup the fuel pump timing for £100! so is it really worth probably a full day in the cold and maybe get it wrong to have a bash myself? Or do my old mate a favour who owns a 300tdi? No brainer so I'm dropping it off next Friday lol
