Hi, I was thinking of fitting an intercooler into my 89 110 running a 2.5TD 19J, however, would changing the enitre radiator assembly for a 300tdi one with an intercooler be a better idea, or would it require too much modification? Also, I was thinking of removing the viscous fan and replacing it with an electric one, any ideas what might work? Apart from fitting a tdi of course...

Electric fan an easy upgrade, I have it on a switch with a bright warning light, engine heats up quickly.

The rad cage is a straight swap off a tdi, electric fans are ok but for reliability stick with the meccy one

it will fit straight in as an assembly but top rad mounts are different as tdi secure to slam panel ,and bonnet prop is different but can be modded to fit
