Have you called an insurer yet and asked them how much?

Cheers

I know loads of people that have had remaps, I'm yet to meet one that's had an insurance premium increase because of it. Who's to say it wasn't done before you bought it? How would you know? Its a different fuel map that would have to be observed directly next to a standard one, who's heard of that being done? Sometimes, one can say too much imo

A good stage 2 remap, may well require a new intercoler. So would be noticeable.

Cheers

That's fine until you have an accident, then the police test it, which they do, and your insurance is invalid and you get charged for not having valid insurance. Ignorance of a vehicles modifications is not a defence.
Trust me, I speak from personal experience. I almost lost my licence because of a remapped Vauxhall Astra.

What’s wrong with storm bankzy?

From what I have heard hes repeatedly tried (and failed) to nick other peoples mapping work and pass it off as his own. As his maps create a lot of power but not with longevity in mind. Again hersey so dont quote me on it but heard enough for me to stay away.

Also seen a fee Storm discos and fenders. They make a lot of noise but dont actually go very fast

I have no plans to cheap out on tuning. Storm Tuning's stage 2 remap is what i think ill go with. :)

There are much better tuners out there. Td5inside, IRB probably the best, Alive, Empire. (JE while good take the **** with their prices)

All much better tuners that have been doing it a hell of a lot longer than Storm. Tried tested and have cars mapped 10 years+ ago that are still running now.

Really? That's funny as Storm have had their software copied by more than one well known TD5 tuner and if you actually did your research rather than just went on hearsay you'd know two of the guys there have been tuning for well over a decade.

Says a lot when their competitors have to try spreading rumors that's are nothing but bull and they only come from one tuners customers...

Are you another one that gets incentives for slating Storm? Personally I’m not a fan of the TD5inside smoke and drama maps but I’m not going to be a dick and start slating them

Angry chap recently ay

Wasnt slating them just saying what ive been told from different and unrelated people.

I have a calm, simple yet powerful map for daily driving too btw. Whats the fun in being boring and quiet all the time :p

Personally I think Daniel at storm tuning was very professional and even emailed me almost a year later to check everything was sound, Td5 inside didn’t get back to me even after numerous emails so god knows what would happen if there was a problem
