Hi guys
I want to fit a 300tdi FIP onto my Disco 200tdi engine in an S2a with std series gearbox, can anyone tell me which FIP i need inc the part number please, the 2 part numbers that i'm struggling with are 4419 and 4046 but not to sure which one i need or will they both do the job, the 4419 is for a none EGR valve which seems to be the one i need and the 4046 is for with an EGR valve but not sure if i can use this one or not, what do you think :)

What's the advantage in fitting a 300 pump to a 200, as far as know they are both just Bosch VE pumps, if your buying a refurbished pump why not get a 200 one then you know it will fit.

The main thing is 200 disco pumps are getting hard to get and 300's are 10 a penny and more or less the same pump :)

Should have sent your 200tdi pump to Diesel Bob. ;)
Yes but it would come back as a Defender 200tdi FIP as the serial number stamped on the pump dictates what the FIP is referbed to, I want a Disco pump, 200 Disco pumps are hard to get now but 300 pumps are more plentyfull and are vertually the same as a 200 pump but newer.

Ah I see, although there would be a good chance he would have had what your looking
for & done a trade deal. Always worth asking. :)

I would have thought the Defender pump would be more suited to the power requirements of a Series.

It probably would be if it had std gearing and std ish tyres, mine has higher gearing and bigger tyres which saps the power setting off and the engine starts to screem on the Mway.
