My 2 local diesel specialists don't have them in but tbh i wanted to keep the Def pump just incase

Parking is ok as my steering is quite light and i don't tow anything heavy anyway but do plan to fit a roof top tent at some point so the pump should help with that

My 300 injection pump has just arrived so i will fit it next week whilst i'm off

Removed the old FIP this afternoon and fitted the new one in place just now, just got to pipe it all up and try it tomorrow

Pump is all piped up and tested with the Def 200tdi pump ( tweaked ) I couldn't go into top till about 32 mph as the engine would start to labour but with the 300tdi pump ( std ) i can go into top at 25 mph but i will give it a better test tomorrow on the motorway

Interesting, do you think the improvements are the result of the 300TDi pump being a better unit for the 200TDi or are the improvements more a reflection on the condition of your old 200TDi pump.

Not sure as the Def pump was tweaked before i got it by p o and i've had the engine in two landies now the 90 the engine came in and my 2a i have now and the engine was fitted to the 90 years ago as it was originally a 2.5td so yes the Def pump could have been on its way out and being tweaked probably hasn't done the pump any good but will see how it is on the motorway tomorrow

I gave the landy a good run today inc motorway and i got the landy upto 80 on the flat and would probably go more but i am happy with that as after i went back to a std transfer box with the Def pump fitted it wouldn't go much over 70 i also have 235's fitted as well which probably doesn't help but i am pretty happy with the result so far
