Had my Discovery nearly a year now, thought i would put a bit of its history up.
How it started...
2 inch lift, Kumho 15 inch mud terrains and a few other bits.
I added HD steering arms and guard after bending the original items, diff guards, fully polybushed, x engineering spots/flood lights and rear LED work lights then set about playing in it for a while.
During floods towards the tail end of last year i managed to do this..
Bent con rod and few other bits were replaced, engine built back up and added a southdown snorkle to try and prevent doing this again. Around that time i also put a midland cb in and painted the interior with bitumen
Then the snow came, a few of my mates and i went out in the Land Rovers to try and assist with stranded cars and ended up in a bit of bother myself. 2 days later i finally found the Disco again.
Since then i have also fitted new BFG mud terrains and a new Superwinch TS9500. Doing events with my local offroad club and just enjoying it!
Has taken a few bumps and scratches but its done well for me so far, have yet to go fix the lights, mirror and window seal but been out of it for past few days with the man flu . Have some plans in the pipeline for it but will wait and see how it gets on next few events.
