Had my Discovery nearly a year now, thought i would put a bit of its history up.

How it started...

2 inch lift, Kumho 15 inch mud terrains and a few other bits.

I added HD steering arms and guard after bending the original items, diff guards, fully polybushed, x engineering spots/flood lights and rear LED work lights then set about playing in it for a while.

During floods towards the tail end of last year i managed to do this..

Bent con rod and few other bits were replaced, engine built back up and added a southdown snorkle to try and prevent doing this again. Around that time i also put a midland cb in and painted the interior with bitumen :p

Then the snow came, a few of my mates and i went out in the Land Rovers to try and assist with stranded cars and ended up in a bit of bother myself. 2 days later i finally found the Disco again.

Since then i have also fitted new BFG mud terrains and a new Superwinch TS9500. Doing events with my local offroad club and just enjoying it!

Has taken a few bumps and scratches but its done well for me so far, have yet to go fix the lights, mirror and window seal but been out of it for past few days with the man flu . Have some plans in the pipeline for it but will wait and see how it gets on next few events.

Old battle bus has been off the road for a while now parked up in my workshop getting down to work on it as and when I have time and motivation

Everyone loves pictures..

I've not taken a lot of photos during the work so that's about all I have. I have found a new headlight and mirror which are on now, took snorkel apart and resealed it all as I wasn't happy with it and have been busy with the grinder

I decided on new Adrenalin castor correction radius arms and cranked trailing arms which I will fit up with new polybushes, new rear body mounts to go on, 200tdi rear prop conversion, hopefully new rock/tree sliders if I can get them to fit in place of my current sliders and a brand new exhaust system which has had the back box removed after the above photo and will be exiting to the side.

Here's hoping I will have some better updates with decent photos soon!

No it's definately hate! Especially after rubbing it in again.... And even more especially as I was lying under mine today up the ferkin drive and it ****ed down an soaked me!!

I was fed up of doing driveway/ roadside builds which is when a friend and I decided to get our own workshop. It isn't cheap to run but on days like you mentioned it is worth every penny!

Wow i like it great transformation n keep the good work up
and also +1 on the hate/jealousy on that workshop!

Thanks pal. I've managed to find a few hours here and there in between other projects to spend on this lately. Coming along now, I miss giving the old girl some abuse so it's now top of my to do list.

Little photo of what I have been up to lately, taken a couple of weeks ago so has been a good bit more progress since.

Praying it doesn't snow before I am finished or I will miss all the fun!

I don't always get a lot of time to spend on the Disco so the pace has been slow. The odd hour or two at night during the week hasn't been the best but it is starting to take shape...

This was the first test fit of the rear back on, happy with how it is going to end up going by this, just a few more bits for me to trim up before it can start to be welded.

Finally today, after being ill over Christmas, I got some new fuel line and ran lines to the tank inside the cab. Bit of faffing and got her running again.
Would have been rude not to take it a little drive around the estate!

Collected van side panels today from a lad on the estate so fingers crossed might be back on the road soon!

Ohhh bob tail! Nice! Its like the perfect landy 100inch base just need to sort the front overhang a little and be awesome off road

It should be good once I get it welded up, looking forward to it as its been far too long since I had some offroad fun. I'm toying with a tyre upgrade aswel and possibly a locker see how the money goes as im told im buying one of those house things just shortly.

Also now I have a new world of problems, a mistake by a buddy who was jumping mine off his Defender has resulted in a horrific amount of electrical faults. Yep, somehow has managed to put the jump leads on backward!

What's the symptoms?
I did that.. turned out I just ####ed the alternator, its one of those things.. unlucky accident

Bit more done, slow but progress none the less. Too busy with other stuff just now and not been giving the Disco as much love as it needs.

Van panels in and made plates for the alpine windows. Waiting on pal doing a little tig work before rear windows go in.

Long time since an update to my little bobtail and finally the fabrication work is finished.. well pretty much.

However found that the passanger side sill had previously been botched together with fiberglass and expanding foam so that needes to be taken care off..

So now the best part of the fabrication is done the Disco is being moved closer to home and i will now get everything built back up and ready for the road.
