Not sure sluggish is the right word............. doesnt rev very quick might be a better description.
Any way. Ive got 2 300 TDi's one will be going very soon as its quite rotten and abit bashed but I thought Id ask the question as if its parts ill pinch them before it goes.
Ill explain them both:
Old: 95 TDi 130k on the clock. Totally standard apart from iv removed the egr valve. starts fine with abit of smoke let it tick over for five then press the accelerator and it revs reasonably quick (for a disco TDi) and puffs out abit of smoke not loads and........ feels sort of fresh and alive.
New: 95 TDi 145k on the clack 1 owner from new looks like its been looked after MOT and service history. This has no egr and a decat. Starts without really turning over there is no smoke not even when you rev it hard but it revs allot slower than the old one. Theres no strange noises like turbo pipes or anything but you can hear the turbo whistle.
Any ideas??
