hi all,

just about to put my 2005 td4 in for its 24k service (it's second). Any suggestions on anything special extra that could be checked or done, or should I just let stealers do their usual bit...
thanks in advance

Thanks guys although I'm pretty much aware of what should be done as regards lr service schedule, just wondered if any accumulated know-how here might have any tips on anything extra that might be worth checking/looking at, in order to avoid future probs....
:)

Thanks MHM. As a newbie,;) don't know if I'm on Pm-ing terms with venerable members, but I will take up the turbo advice idea. I'll try and get them to give a good check over at the same time, especially as I'm occasionally bothered by almost unperceptible power losses on acceleration. (after having a diagnosis run, I had an injector changed, the second time one's been changed, but made no difference)....

sure yu are - i think he is feeling a bit left out - so a pm or an e-mail askin his advice wud buck him up no end. Go-on - yu know yu want to:).

Hey sadsack

Worth bearing in mind that the service does not necessarily have to be done by a main dealers. I have mine done by an Independent LR dealers here in the West Midlands. They are half the price, friendly and competent (they are ex LR employees) and they stamp up the service record with a pucka LR stamp so the warranty is unaffected!
