Hi, I am new on the forum and am happy chappy having just purchased a 2010 range rover vogue, it comes with 22 inch overfinch alloys, look great on the car but have read and heard horror stories about ride quality and more importantly damage to suspension bushes, for me the ride was ok ( just come out of a v50 t5 so used to a few bumps!) bushes however, I need advice on, appreciate they will be rubbish in snow and the like but was going to get original 19 inch shod with some proper tyres, alternative is sell 22 and buy 20 inch with all round tyres, any and all advice gratefully received.

Cheers and thanks

I would go down to the 20" V spoke wheels that were fitted as standard to the 2010 autobiography models.

Just fitted a set to my old vogue and they suit the car so well.

22" will be a very hard ride, and I do think they look to big IMO

The 22s are great if all you do is cruise around Chelsea. If you want a bit of comfort then you need some sidewalls. As far as snow is concerned, if you're serious, you might want to either find if you can get snow tyres to fit whatever rims you buy, or, buy two sets of rims.

suffer with the 22's during the summer as they look better (although alot will disagree) and buy a cheap set of 19s with chunky tyres just for winter.

My 20" with summer tyres never slipped up with all the snow last year

You shouldn't need winter tyres with a range rover lol
