I think i might be able to make an aluminium plate for the top to replace the auto selector, till i can find a proper replacement
You need to find one from a short stick LT77. There is a very good chance that a Disco one will fit especially it it's from the 200 series not the 300 series

Well i was told that a disco one would fit better than the rr but would not be able to get the arm rest.s down, but rang up avenger 4x4 parts place in peterborugh, he told me that the disco would not fit, so stuffed again

Cut the centre cubby box off the disco one and fit the Rangy cubby box

Until I get round to doing the work its earning it's keep as the farm shunter

How are you finding the engine?

I think it is a delight in our ninety, but how does it fair in a heavy vehicle?

Well I can shift the sheep trailer around half full of stuff in high range on tick over. It pulls of with ease and potters around nicely so torque wise it's fantastic, will need to get it on the road to know more

Right, need to get cracking with the work on this. Has anyone got any tips for replacing the rear body cross member? It's about the only thing I didn't change on my V8 rangy. I got one from YRM already

Have a butchers at these. Watch out for the piece of metal just behind the goal post, was a bit of a pain breaking the spot welds and then re-welding. HTH

I tack welded couple of cross braces to the goal posts on last couple I did and found it helps when it comes to refitting the bottom tailgate went straight back on, bit of a pain working round them at times but well worth I thought.

Nothing major and apart from the drivers sill and a patch on the cross member all looks original metal

I wonder if this still works?
