Hi there,
Does anyone know of a resource on the net tht can supply me with the full spec for the 200Tdi injectors in terms of opening presuures, nozzle size flow rate etc?
I've had a look but no joy.
Cheers
Andy

i've never been able to find much info about them, think you might have to sleep with a Bosch agent to get anything of much use

dunno if this helps

Bosch 2 spring
(assembly number 0432193879)
nozzle size/type - DSLA 145P208
nozzle holder - KBEL 98 P52
initial pressure 200 atms
secondary pressure 280 atms

Aint worth foking about with injectors, just fit replacements, only thing I ever did was test them.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for the info - just what i was after.
It would appear that the 200 and 300 injectors are near identical however the nozzels are different. The 200 has DSLA 145P208 nozzels and the 300 has DSLA 145P336 nozzels. Does this mean the the 300 nozzels deliver more fuel in a better spray pattern so at to retain performance in line with the 200tdi following the addition of egr and catalytic converter for emmisions on the 300 engine and therefore would fitting the 300 nozzels to a 200 tdi injector give a performance increase on the 200tdi?
Its just the same principal is applied to the early type VW Tdi engines with good results - i put the injector nozzels from a 110hp engine into my 90hp engine and tweaked the injection pump and still running standard boost achieved 127hp - anyway it was just a thought.

I like your thinking, in theroy it should work in the same way as the vdub lumps but theres only one way to find out :D

I suppose i could wait until the morning, so everyone who's read this will be able to nod off tonight thinking the happy thought of getting another 20BHP outta their 200 by putting 300 injectors in .......

sadly .....

I wasn't suggesting that you swap the entire injector just the nozzel and you probably wouldn't see 20hp but certainly an increase in hp and more importantly torque if the spray pattern was improved. The other consideration would be if fuelling is increased would standard boost be sufficient so as not to smoke too much and then theres the all important EGT to consider.
I think i'll see f i can pick up a set and have a go, unless someones been there done that and can tell me what happened.
Cheers

Thats worth a try if nothing else the 300 injectors are allmost half the price to the 200 ones. But i would have thought some one would have all ready had a go at it. Let us know how you get on.P.S Try United Diesel for injectors the are up north near you some place.

What was the outcome?
I am looking for new injectors or at least replacement nozzles and thought about 300TDI jobs.

Mingdiesel

has anyone got an outcome on this im seriously considering this mod due to a dead 200tdi pump and a cheap 300 pump and injectors ? please let me know the out come !
