Hi guys.
Went to change oil on gearbox today I do e fill plug but can't see to get a socket over the drain plug ?

Am I missing something completely obvious and being silly

i went and bought a socket that size, then i had to go buy a spanner

Big adjustables, dont forget the filter as well, again adjustables.

32mm and don't bother with adjustables. They're only suitable for stuff around the house to prevent scratching chrome plated fittings.

Theres adjustables and then theres adjustables, quality ones wont cause any damage at all.

Got myself an adjustable King Dick last weekend, oo err. Actually a bloody solid bit of spanner and not bad for £1 at the local charity sale.

Some thing in there has chewed up,[circlip?] clean out filter and see whats in there but if still working reasonably well then refill and check again in a few months.

it is 6, it stops the possibility of over selecting 4 gear (excessive travel of synchro hub) on early boxes later have a disc on the gear aswell
