Hello all,
I have a 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 , and I am based in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
I had a bad year thus far as my FL2 constantly went into REDUCED ENGINE PERFORMANCE and now it does not want to clear using the OBD 2 reader. Each time I read the errors and work to get the problem solved but have reached a point where I desperately need advice. Just a short history...
I had P0234 and changed the turbo actuator then got a P02E0 error and I replaced the Throttle body with a second hand part I bought as the Air Temp sensors that I bought new gave me exactly the same Error, only to get a P02E5 error. I removed the the throttle body again and just replaced it with my old throttle body and just changed the air temp sensor with the 2nd hand sensor and reinstalled it. I started the car and all codes were gone but after 2 days of town driving yesterday I got the Reduced engine performance message again and as I checked the error codes I get this code P0380 and P2FF0 ..... Please help. I can not understand why a Glow plug can be the issue as it is nice and warm here and the vehicle starts up just fine.

Seems like I might have a loose connection or broken wire issue. I started her up this morning and the Message was gone!! After taking it around the block the performance was great until I pulled up in the driveway and lo and behold the REDUCED ENGINE PERFORMANCE message reappears. Is there anyone that knows how I can check for broken wires and is there maybe a video showing how to test it yourself ?

Welcome to LandyZone. This is the intro section the place to say hello to everyone and post a few pics of your landy. For technical help you are best asking in here -

Do you own a DVM? Cheap bit of kit that’s easy to use, bit more skill involved in how to use the information it gives but plenty of helpful people here will show you how.
