It depends if yu is happy to bodge it or do a proper job. Makes changing a headlight a nightmare anorl if yu ever have to.

it may be a bodge, but if your in malaysia theres not many options, and it works,as for harder to change, smash your old light up and remove old plug and wiring, and fit it into new light, that way you can still unplug it

Bumper armature needs extending 50mm, i made some brackets out of angle. You also need to cut about 60mm off each end of the armature.

stuart,
i have changed to 5 pin relay but the both lights wont came out at same time when switching to high beam. can you help?

Starting with the back first, bumpers look similar, but some differences. remove old bumper, screws absolute bugger, do not be tempted to destroy wheel arch liner 40.00 new. bumper will not fit flush due to you needing to remove top bumper mounting bracket, just below fog light, drill out spot welds, you then have a lip sticking out all the way down the inside edge of the bumper 6" long 1/2 wide. this needs to be hammered flat, and then coated with seam sealer to protect from the elements. After this bumper then fits, you then need to drill a new mounting hole for the top edge of bumper to compensate for the bit you removed.Do not refit bumper bracket as it will not fit. New lights need to have your original bulbholders modified to fit easy to do.You will now see the gap between fogs and bumper, fit new rev and foglights, problem only 1 hole lines up bottom one drill 2 new holes, and take a small hammer and tap round edges of body where light fits, hey presto new back end. You then have to get bunper paint to blend arches round door and wing to match dark colour of bumper
Hi , Im new to the forum so forgive me if I ask something which has already been dealt with and given R.I.P. You say you need to drill out the spot welds(what are these and where are they??) Secondly you talk about a lip sticking out on the inside edge of bumper. Which bumper is this coz I dont see no lip!! Is it the cross member but where????

I have the same problem but I cannot see on the threads how this issue was finalised. I have changed the relay next to the flasher unit to 5 pin but the headlights still dont come on at the same time . Where am I going wrong ????

sorry guys work commitments have stopped me coming on as often as i would have liked, you do not have to change any relays
YOU HAVE TO ADD ONE IN
will dig out my wiring diagram and send you both a pm on how to do it. so put your old relays back in
