HI Just wondering how you got on. I recently had an issue with my ECM losing power and no Comms from diagnostic tool. I had to engage a ECU specialist who also could not communicate with the ECM on the bench so he retrieved the data of the original and cloned it on to a donor ECM with the same Bosch part number. Tis resolved the no communication issue, but I also discovered that one of the 30amp green fuses in the black compartment that houses the ecm was blown, replaced this and car started right away. However have not found the reason for the fuse blowing and has happened again after covering 800km's - replaced the fuse and away she went. No idea what the route cause is and looking for ideas from anyone else too.

If that fuse happens to be for glow plugs, a duff glow plug maybe, assuming the car is a diesel.

Hey, sorry, had a busy month.. How I got on is... Valves 15 degrees through the pistons is what caused the latest no-start reason... Doing a complete engine revision now.. Good thing is - no ECU issues! :D
