Hi all, selling my disco because I think im going to get a new freelander :behindsofa:, but will consider a swap / swap and money either way.

Its got 12 months MOT, tax until June and has done 135,000 miles. Drives really well and engine feels like new. Interior is great, but there are some small scratches on the exterior.

I've put a few pictures below, and feel free to ask me anything. Oh, its in Birmingham and im looking for offers around £2500.

Sorry, missed a few things out. Its got tax till June, MOT for 12 months and I'm open to offers around £2500 i think.

What state is it in - does everything work? Service history? Tow bar? You're not really selling it...

And what do you base that on? It could be argued it was the saviour of land rover, its sold in huge (for a land rover) numbers.
Agreed the petrol engine model is a disaster but the BMW derv engine? OH and its not brill of rd but the freelander 2 is supposed to be ok

See problem with a Freelander is peeps think Offroader when in fact it's a 4wd estate car. in the same vein as Ovlov XC, BMW X3/5, Honda CRV, etc etc they might be ok for a spot of gentle laning, or dragging the pikey wagon off a muddy field. but they're not "Offroaders" in the way that a disco, defender or rangey is..

freelanders did sell ,but for many they arent what you would have expected a landrover to be ,a vehicle with chassis and live axles,with ability to tow heavy loads ,take i/2 a ton in the rear and still drive,freelanders are cars ,but thats what most want now

Hi Pikey, you're ded right on that, as a car they take some beating but as an off roader then yep they're crap, freelander 1 is, 2 is a bit better, but not ment as a replacement for the 90
