Overfuelled my defender 200TDi, but didnt do it until after fitting full size hi-flow Intercooler and performance exhaust.

Did it via what they call the smoke screw, from what I was told it increases fuel during boost too, made a massive difference, but then the other mods require it, mine works best when it does smoke low down, but clears past 1200 rpm.

when i save up some dosh, the large intercooler and the fuel/pressure boost trick, is on the agenda.
getting a bit ****ed off with council refuse lorries beating me away from the lights.

And obvious adverse effects of overfuelling as stated above?

And does the extra ooomph just kick in with turbo???

Might be handy for me if its pheasible as i tow a 6 berth caravan.
Well i will do if i ever sort me towbar thing out.
Hmmmph.

Allard claim 30-40% more torque from their intercooler, having done it with th eoverfuelling I would say that's very realistic, felt like more to me.

Turbo is free to spin up quicker and run faster with greater throughput, so its gain, gain, gain as far as I'm concerned, 1 downside bein less fuel economy, I get 15 whilst towing 3-tonnes.

Leaves my TD5 Discovery for dust off the lights, right up to 70mph, or should I say smoke :p
