My 12j did 197,000 before i swapped it for a 200tdi, though there was nothing wrong with it.
The 110 has now done around 230,000, but with a galvanised chassis doors and bulkhead. Stainless exhaust. Disco transfer box, and an LSD in the back axle.
Anything original other than the odometer? :D

What the blazes happened to them all?
First one lasted until 190k when the transferbox dumped all it oil and "siezed" chewing up the output shaft, annoying as nothing else wrong with the gearbox. Second was a no-name rebuild fitted by a local garage which clearly used the cheapest bearings they could find and lasted 30k before it was howling, had that rebuilt by ashcorft which lasted 70k before layshaft bearings went, and sent it back to ashcroft to rebuild again, that has been in nearly 10k now.
I was not particualrly happy with only getting 70k from an ashcorft rebuild, that's only three oil changes! But the oracle that is jamesmartin pointed out that from new the lt77 could fail and need rebuilding at around 60k so I think I was just lucky with the first one. I am also currently doing high road/motorway milage, 30k per year, which i know they were not really designed for.

congrats mate - look after them and they will just keep going - took this last month in my 90 original engine! replaced the head gasket two months ago.

My 1987 90 has only 150,000 on the clock. I am the 10th owner  I think it has spent most of it's life in the garage ;)
At my present rate, it will be 50 years before I catch up with all your fantastic scores!!

Well, the Mrs' memory has eventually let her down.

It's just not the same as a line of zeros :( On the positive side, I'll be able to use it against her for a long time ;) :)
Noooooo!! That’s tragic. You’ll get her back one day. At some point in your lives she’ll ask you to capture a very special, unrepeatable moment on camera, do it, but do it 5 mins after you should’ve. Then laugh slowly and say in your best Arnie voice “now we’re equal”, turn and walk away.
