yeah its a manual, just keep it between 2-2250 rpm around 60 odd and it feels like it will cruise all day like that not using much fuel

i do have some sort of power box thing, need to investigate that, its dissconected at mo, if i just plug it back in...will it work again or is there more to it ? could do with knowing exactly what it is and does etc

Just plug it back in and see what you get. But the only way to improve the power and torque is to increase the fueling. So don't be mislead by the advertising bumff about improved MPG Etc. Only thing you can do is try it and see what you get.

had enough of being financially raped or getting a different off roader?

If I was going to sell my Rangie I'm sorry but I'd only buy another newer one (if I could afford one!!!)
I've just had mine serviced and I've fallen in love with it all over again............
I think mines reliable you just have to get a good one and look after it....

mines been good, but i've had him for 6 and half years and it's gona cost more to put the injector pump right, so i'm changing.
and minty... i've looked at lots of navaras and i'm getting one, just need some advice on the imported one before i make my choice as to which navara to have...:D

good choice but compared to the rangey nowhere near as comfy, but at least they are reliable.

Reliable? Ask the thousands of people who have experienced engine failures (Gen 1) or half-shaft failures (Gen 2). Of course nothing ever goes wrong with Japanese cars

Yes they are generally reliable but there are plenty of lemons. Not only has the Navara caused problems for Nissan but Gen1 diesel XTrails blow up with alarming regularity, turbo or total engine failure. The much maligned Land Rover TD5 is a paragon of reliability compared to a Gen1 XTrail diesel!

arrr, i hate goodbyes, feel all sad now... if only i have an man who loved my rangerover and me and was good with his hands.....!! :D for fixing the range rover of course...

he's been really good of late and the only thing is the power loss unreliable starting so i'm putting it down to the injector pump. unfortunately it will be another thousand to put right and my business needs a comercial vehicle for VAT reasons so mangey rangey has to go. i asked my garage guys what they thought i'd get for it and they laughed:mad:

It's a shame you've got to get rid of your Rangie but it sounds like your being left without a choice....

I thought about getting a van, (I do a bit of property development at the weekends) but I couldn't do it so I bought a trailer instead...:D

I hope my injector pump doesn't give up the ghost it sounds like a very pricey fix....:mad:

;)

i still keep thinking i'll park him up and do the injector pump but i know it's where it would stay... i can hear it buzzing and vibrating so hoping it won't implode!! lol by the time the navara gets here...
i get all emotional when i say i'm selling him, it sad!! lol

So have you already moved to the dark side and bought a Navara?
Is it me or are they BIG? When ever one passes me it just looks a bit of a monster...

Yes:eek: and its big black, and got leather and toys every womans dream:D but i went to test drive a brand new one and the first thing i said to the salesman was "god ain't it rough" he said you're telling me your 14year old range rover ain't rough??? i said here's the keys, you tell me!!
