I have a 96 2.5 DSE Range Rover. It sometimes misfires and judders more noticeable when a light throttle is used. I can feel it missing every now and again with the power on. However it seems to tick over well at about 700rpm.

I have done all the normal things that I can think of but to no avail.

Has anybody had or heard of this problem or may have some suggestions;

Have you checked the leak off pipes??

What are the things you have done??

Hi Wills

I replaced al the leak pipe's fuel filter and bled the fuel system changed the injector for other second hand injectors. Cleaned out the fueltank and replaced the tank pump. I can see no evidence of air getting into the system or fuel leaking out.

I have also that has nothing to do with the fault fitted a massive intercoller and re chipped the ECU.

Have you heard problems with Bosch injector pumps before?

How do you know it's nothing to do with the air intake system?

Have you checked all the hoses, a mis-fire can occur due to air being sucked in past the MAP sensor etc.

Hi I don' know that it's not the air intake! but I had the fault before I modified the intercooler and pipe work. I was hoping to finf something untoward whilst workinging the area.
I have received a message from an other member who claims to have the very same fault, he is waiting in the wings for some kind of a solution.
