Buy a bag of interior fixings from the flea bay 5quid gets you 10years supply I think some guys have got them.

Told ya you had cupholders some will be so jealous:D, Thier pretty useless dont use them while driving unless you want to get a new window switch panel:oops::eek:.

I'd like the walnut trim around the front panel at some point. It's got puddle lights too(working) is they standard?

Got on both ours but they is Autobia and Vogue trims so dont know if standard.

They had so many option you could have they all seem slightly different, nothing seem "standard":D.

Reckon realistically nothing wrong with it apart from normal old age and of course its not a V8
MrSporty is fobfix on internet and does a cracking and very speedy job on doing stuff to keys
 
Mine has the twin rear pipes, got the landrover logo on too.
Connecting the battery and disconnecting it doesn't appear to upset anything that I've discovered so far. Radio still works without a code although when we played with the sunroof it wouldn't shut again even though it did on the viewing. I found the spekle key in the tool kit so wound it back manually. The Doris and I (gotta talk proper English now I have a posh car) fiddled with things when it went dusk and found lots of stuff seemed to work like stereo controls on the steering wheel, it's got resume on it also so cruise control?, All lights work including fogs, number plate light was full so I've removed that and one lamp gone and the lens had blocked drain holes and were covered internally with green slime, bit fiddley but cleaned them out with hot water and cotton buds. Loads of pine needles around the tailgate aperture along with more green slime. The Doris is cleaning her up and it looks and smells much better. I'm making biodiesel today so not had a chance to investigate anything else much.

Good,the resume is.for the cruise control so is the set button.I don't think the intank fuel pump is very happy with biodiesel.
 
Puddle lights are standard as are pine needles lol. Handy for passers by to see you lying on floor in dark when you ferget your up high.
Pre EGR not bothered about bio but you have Nanocom so just be extra servicing more likely. Save £40 on fuel but lose £400 on new MAF :D
Get it running on normal (fresh) fuel first is cleverer. If it’s been standing your fuel pump is likely gunge anyhow.

I'm going to drop the tank to renew the brake pipes so I'll clean it all out then and possibly make the boot access hole for the pump. What pressure does the pump produce? Is there any reason why an inline pump couldn't be fitted up stream, like a facet? Strip the gubbins out of the tank pump so it's just a pickup/return?. Guess someone would have done that by now if it was possible.
 
If your intank (lift) pump is fine you won’t need a facet but they have been used. Easy to check pump look at wammers how to in tech section.
If yours is later model don’t think your brake lines are behind the tank
 
The brake line to passenger rear wheel runs over the rear cross member, you can do it with tank in but would be easier with it out the way and at the same time lift pump and tank to filler neck pipe hose.
 
Home..what a day! M6 gridlocked, boiling hot, no water left to drink.
Gearbox works forward and reverse anyway, drove on and off the trailer no problems. No battery on it when I arrived to pick up so I stuck my campervan battery on and it fired up straight away.
Doris has polished the mould off the dash, well, all interior plastics had mould on.
Spent 1/2hr looking over it and initial observations are,
Missing wheel nut found(locking) plus the lock nut tool and a plastic franger that I now know is used to take the shiney cap off the locking nut. Jack is present, spare wheel isn't.
Water in spare wheel well.
Numerous plastic trim clips missing.
I have cup holders.
Narrow rear seat is down and won't go back into the locked position.
Boot load liner is not for this car but sort of does the job.
Both rear silencers are rotted but the middle silencer might be ok.
Both rear tyres are bald on the inside edge only.
Parcel shelf is tatty/broke I think,
Only 1 key of the 3 works the remote CL but all 3 lock/unlock with the key.
Driver's seat works electrically not tried passenger. Battery terminal clamps don't tightern ( they said they just hammered them on)
All looks ok and unmolested under the bonnet. Funny switch fitted in the headliner above front passenger seat.
Drag link bar looks bent but unsure if it's supposed to be dead straight.
This is what I think has happened.
Car has bashed a kerb wreaking a front wheel, wheel wanged and spare fitted, carried on driving with bent rod throwing the tracking out which scrubbed the front tyres. Rear tyres fitted to the front with the scrubbed edge tyres fitted to the rear inboard so less easy to spot then chucked on eBay.
Lots of stuff still to check but still pleased thus far:cool:

Fobs might just need syncing as long as 1 isn't a clone.

If it turns out to be unhappy I'll rip the guts out of it and fit a facet. I did do a search on here and found a guy who asked the same facet question or rather, wanted to know the flow rate of the facet to see if it was at least equal to the RR one but never got an answer.
Wammers (rip) did reply with the RR pump flow rate though, 180ml per minute or something, I forget. I do have a facet here that I could rig up to check flow rate and if it's ok I might fit it anyway with a switch so if the RR one suddenly failed I could get going again:cool:. A facet has been fine on my tratter for years, cheapy copies are not, got to be genuine facet.

Yes, looks doable for sure. The tank is fairly empty so may as well do it that way and give it a good swill out too.
I've read the fuel pipes or unions suffer with rust too? So can give that area a good look over while I'm at it.
 
Just had a call of the indy about that nanocom, never used just taken out the box, around 6 months old. Guy will take £400. Sounds ok to me?
Off to a funeral now so not online for a couple of hours. Wife's gran 93 so good inning's.
 
Minimum of 180mils in 10 seconds.

Careful with the plastic elbow they can be brittle. The pic you thought was a shlong ^^^ is my finger pointing to the fuel relay if you ever need to jump the pump

No problems with rust when I did mine.
 
Just been out looking for the obd port, found it and also saw this tucked up under the centre console.
Anyone know what it is?I pulled it out to take the pic.also the obd port terminals look a bit manky, white deposits but not overly excessive. What's the best way to clean it up?
