Hello everyone
After scouring this universe I'm still stumped and I'm asking for your help .
I'm a biker always have been but decided to pass my driving test at 34years young and bought myself a Freelander 1 auto 2.0 td4 for commuting and taking my kids out etc
I had it about 3 days when the problem first started , so here goes
It'll start up lovely very responsive and smooth drives lovely , then after about 15 minutes as it's set in drive
It will begin to almost act like it's in neutral you have to kick down the accelerator which will rev and rev and the it'll kick back in at this point the temp is about half way on the gauge don't know if it's related or not but just something I noticed but I've had it twice where I've had to pull up at the road side as the FL has just not kicked back into drive even when turned off and back in it just revs ,
Weirdly reverse always works
I've had a little red led light appear on the rev counter.
Could it be a lack of transmission fluid ??
as I say any help at all would be truly appreciated as I've been truly taken advantage of by the dealer I bought it from
Thanks guys
