Hey guys, been doing a bit of research and managed to land me a 3.6 TDV8, Vogue SE from 2008. It's had 119,000 miles and I'll be looking to put a few more on it.

The first issue I had so far was that I had some smoke blowing out under heavy acceleration and the turbo was a bit noisy... Turned out it was the infamous top intercooler hose that had a split on it. I just ordered one and will be looking to replace it tomorrow...

Welcome to LZ! :)

haha, appreciate the warm welcome. I've owned a BMW e60 530d for the past 5 years, putting around 80k miles on it and I learn it the hard way that cars break down. I just hope I won't go through the same with the this one

That has to be one of the most full of (false) hope posts for a while. :)

It makes me think of all those who join , and tell us, 'oh I owned this or that car, no way this can be worse'. Oh yes it can, and will. Still , it's character building, and soon separates the love from the lust

Wishful thinking, right ?! Just changed the top intercooler hose and the boost leak is now gone.

While going through the various compartments in the boot, I've noticed that in the right hand side, there are 2 wire bundles with plugs, that are not plugged into anything... I'll take a pic and post it here, just curios if they're supposed to go anywhere or not ?!

Make sure and post in the Range Rover section for better coverage of the right people.
probably for towing harness but let’s see in the right section.
