Hi all,

I appreciate i'm a bit new around here for asking favours.....but i need a favour!

I live out of town and i am now in town at work. I intend to go to the local fabric shop at lunchtime to purchase some faux suede fabric as the headlinging in my 300Tdi ES is a mess due to the ususal sunroof leaks (since the interior is really tidy i thought i would raise the luxury levels with some black faux suede! Balck also shouldn't show the spray adhesive or water marks if the leak comes back....).

I have the rooflining off and have removed the old material and wire brushed the foam off. After a few attempts it appears i have managed to fix the sunroof leaks also!

However, i totaly forgot to meausre the length and width of the headlining mould. Any chance someone could pop outside and measure the rough length and width of the roof/mould on their disco?

I'll then add 20% to whatever measurements you give me to ensure i purchase enough and have plenty left to fold over the back.

Thanks in advance....

Chris

150cm between the tops of the side windows and just over 240cm so say 250cm between top of windscreen to the top of the rear window,

So 150cm x 250cm Hope we have met your lunch time deadline and show us a photo when you have completed you little project:D

Just about to leave now so you timed that perfecty!!!

Thanks very much indeed for taking the time to measure that for me!!

I'll post a picture or two for sure!

I can't decide now whether to get grey to match the leather or black for a striking contrast.......

Hi, This is how it looks in black. I used felt the same as you
get for pool tables.

Oooooooo very nice, i wonder where the sunroof surround came from as mine just has a strip of beige edging. A different style of sunroof maybe.
