Grrrrrr, thanks for chiming-in. Finally got reservoir cleaned but had some second thought about an area near the top of small compartment that wasn't accessible. Another member mentioned Denatured alcohol so I'm going to pry off the tank and pour some in, give a swish and let it dry overnight. Meanwhile, I'll connect the pipes, hoses and lines while it dries. Will let you all know how it goes.
Good talking with you!!!

Oooo ,new bestie Grrrrrr, is that small compartment the reservoir for the clutch on the manual version?

No, remember mine is an automatic Range Rover 1996 SE that you all helped troubleshoot. The reservoir is split into 2 or 3 compartments.

I think that's so the liquid don't slosh around and make air, its like a baffle in liquid trucks

It has a flatened/pressed plastic I guess you'd could call it an outlet (see right side of attached pic).

Yes. Snip the end off that plastic stub and connect the clutch master cylinder pipe to it.

That reservoir really puts mine to shame now.

I think you mean the pipe for the clutch master cylinder if you have a manual, the brake feed pipe is already shown in the photo.
