TBH I'm not really sure I want to sell it so I'm only advertising it on here hoping nobody wants it

So far it's working

The problem is the van I want is double what I have to spend, I could borrow the money but I'd sooner not do it if possible

What I could do with is pawning it so I could buy it back when I'm not skint :D

Awful interior pics added

I had an offer of £5100 which I accepted but his circumstances have changed so it's fallen through

I'm not going any lower so if there's no interest I'll just keep it

My heart isn't into selling it anyway :D

It's obvious this isn't the place to sell a land rover unless you're giving it away

My thoughts are your asking a lot of money for a 1990 vehicle on original chassis, while I don't doubt you have spent lots of time and money on this- often the bolt on goodies don't increase the value.

I call a spade a spade and while you may think I'm being blunt I reckon 4k tops and I would expect to have all faults fixed and some sort of warranty offered at that price.

It looks like you getting desperate and ebay classified advert with best offer the way forward.

I hope you get interest in it

i thought 3500 to maybe 4k before i saw your price.

it's a 200 conversion, which drops it a bit, then the rest is just bling. the snorkel is for show?

i'd expect to get a decent, solid orig 200tdi/300tdi for 2-3k and then upto another 1k would bring it to yours, imo

but yeah in general we know about landies and how to fix em, so we want a bargain ;)

try ebay, gl!

paid £450 for my V8 90 tax and mot and full tank of petrol- drive train and engine were knackered and I spent too many hours on 1uzfe conversion to ever sell for a profit.

If your looking for top money then you want it perfect 12 months mot and possibly on a private plate at a show

I thought that would get some posts :D

Just the soft top would be 1k if you bought it new so I doubt you'd bring it up to this spec for £1000

If it doesn't sell I probably will

I wasn't expecting to sell it on here but I m not giving it away , I'd get £600-700 for the soft top roll bar and hoops on eBay

Aaron put a lot of work into rebuilding it so it's not a £1500 shed

I've bought a van now so there's no rush to sell it

ack, why strip a good defender? i doubt you'd get 5k for it stripped and it'll take a lot of effort.

personally, i'd strip off all the bling that you've stuck on, including the soft top.

find and paint a hardtop and then flog it as a good nick standard defender for 3.5k

then flog all the blingy stuff separately and hope for a grand or so

you never make your money back on vehicles by adding blingy stuff. :)

ooor hold out, there's always someone who will spend the cash if you wait long enough

I actually like this, and like the soft top. But what puts me off are the funny rear quarter cut aways. It looks too much like it's that way because there's been a rust problem.

Also, can you please post some proper pictures of the rear interior?
